[00:08:46.939876]<osimons>hi cboos. you planning a release soon then?
[00:12:56.851253]<osimons>i got a batch of 'nb' strings remaining (=67), but presume i'll get it all committed sometime after lunch. got other things i need to do first though.
[00:13:08.262174]<cboos>hello Simon, yes, certainly today
[00:13:44.771451]<cboos>osimons: the important thing is to be sure there are no "mistakes" e.g. %d where %s is expected, things like that
[00:14:01.200781]<cboos>if a few sentences are not translated, that's less important
[00:14:35.594111]<cboos>e.g. missing parameters will cause an internal error, currently. Bad :-(
[00:14:38.528309]<osimons>well, msgfmt checks report no errors - although that may not be enough?
[00:14:47.245813]<cboos>no, that's not enough
[00:15:00.891927]<cboos>a few additional errors can be caught when compiling the catalog
[00:15:26.236001]<osimons>well, done is done, and this is after all what beta releases are for - that is why i want it done and spread in the wild :-)
[00:15:43.201952]<cboos>so, do: "make check compile locale=nb" and you should be good ;-)
[00:16:17.028193]<cboos>I'm still sometimes surprised to see Trac instances running 0.11b1, so 0.12b1 has better to be good ;-)
[00:16:54.541353]<cboos>(which it will be, as it's been months we're running trunk on t.e.o without major trouble)
[00:17:09.672022]<cboos>(well except for #8443, but that's a whole other story)
[00:17:26.933654]<osimons>make check compile locale=nb => OK, must be doing something right :-)
[00:17:59.630124]<osimons>cboos: at what time is cut-off then for joining the b1 party?
[00:18:31.521123]<cboos>no idea, but I'll try to stay on #trac today, so you'll be informed in time
[00:18:48.731274]<cboos>salut Remy 1
[00:18:55.104142]<cboos>s/1/!
[00:18:55.119489]<evil_twin>cboos meant: salut Remy !
[00:19:03.151179]<rblank>cboos: Hello Christian 2
[00:19:07.189771]<cboos>hm ;-)
[00:19:43.154849]<cboos>Have you seen mrelbe comments on #9239?
[00:20:41.969144]<rblank>Yes, replying to it.
[00:20:46.018944]<cboos>perfect
[00:20:56.237432]<rblank>He's definitely very thorough :)
[00:21:01.977567]<rblank>Which is good!
[00:21:06.214676]<cboos>yes, I like that too
[01:31:14.460510]<ty2u>hey everyone, wondering if anyone has any info on how to integrate trac with Joomla so it can share logins. found something on trac-hacks.org that was for Joomla 1.0 but I am looking for 1.5 and I don't know how to convert it
[04:24:12.466958]<vlt>Hello. I want to translate the Action fieldset but can't find any occurance of "assign" in messages.po. Any idea where to look?
[04:48:45.255185]<bionoid>vlt: Hm defined in [workflow] in trac, ini maybe?
[04:50:14.351302]<blinkiz>Hello. After doing the initenv, I have a bunch of new created stuff by trac in my timeline. I would like to remove them so I do not see them in my timeline. How can I do this?
[04:50:36.175137]<hasienda> vlt: action_controls.key it put as value for the radio into ticket.html at line 350
[04:51:05.368472]<bionoid>hey hasienda :) hows it going?
[04:52:05.608659]<hasienda>vlt: ./trac/ticket/web_ui.py:1533: action_controls.append((action, first_label, tag(widgets), hints))
[04:52:30.960583]<hasienda>vlt: action = key, AFAIK
[04:52:53.092357]<hasienda>bionoid: fine, how are you?
[04:53:18.407671]<bionoid>good, good weekend coming up, so ;)
[04:53:47.825145]<bionoid>have you announced patches?
[04:54:10.074685]<bionoid>(havnt had any time to read lists lately)
[04:54:19.310174]<hasienda>bionoid: patches for custom time fields are almost ready now, got TracQuery fixed last evening.
[04:54:33.756113]<hasienda>bionoid: What a good feeling to see query for custom time working here. :-)
[04:54:48.170012]<bionoid>hasienda cool, great work!
[04:55:03.907387]<bionoid>I will have to migrate to .12 then it seems ;-)
[04:55:50.620195]<hasienda>bionoid: patches are out for beta-test, see http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracTicketsCustomTimeFields for all glory details, as soon as you can afford the time
[04:55:57.526832]<bionoid>most of my hacks will be much less complex with these functions, so perhaps I will have time to write it in releasable quality!
[04:56:46.454464]<hasienda>bionoid: in short, get it here: http://bitbucket.org/hasienda/custom-time and read series file there
[04:56:51.553180]<bionoid>aha cool, I've put aside next saturday to install & test so
[04:57:37.584171]<hasienda>bionoid: going for refinement right now, adjustable accuracy, default values definition, you see?
[04:58:08.714568]<hasienda>bionoid: I'm a manic, as soon as I get the grip ;-)
[05:01:00.989194]<bionoid>hasienda cool ;) I'll report back to you after testing for sure.
[05:01:38.467780]<bionoid>hasienda what's your closest major city? I'm buying you beer if I go there ;)
[05:06:09.784409]<hasienda>bionoid: Dresden/Saxony/Germany, but forget about beer, I adhere to dinking water and juice since I have children.
[05:08:11.525908]<hasienda>vlt: got it? sorry for not digging in any further, since I've got to leave for some hours.
[05:11:24.189842]<bionoid>hasienda aha I'll get the juice then ;-)
[05:11:58.342390]<hasienda>vlt: bionoid might be right about [ticket-workflow], since "assign" looks identical to .name of the relevant action
[05:12:10.959408]<bionoid>Anyway I'm going to meeting, ttyl
[05:13:20.083896]<hasienda>bionoid: yeah, goodbye for now
[05:13:55.511481]<vlt>hasienda: Thanks. /vlt (who's closest major city is Dresden/Saxony/Germany too :-)
[05:30:02.378883]<cboos>anyone's a clue about how to make figleaf work when doctest is used?
[05:34:20.394134]<cmlenz>cboos: maybe something related to http://bugs.python.org/issue1429818 ?
[05:35:00.514551]<cboos>related, but I'm using 2.6 and that patch is in
[05:36:21.820162]<cboos>the coverage for the unit tests works fine up to the first DocTestSuite; after that, the tests continue to proceed of course, but figleaf stops to notice anything
[05:40:52.564993]<cmlenz>yeah, the main reason I didn't use bitten for genshi and babel is that I could not get coverage measurement to work with doctests
[05:41:36.159987]<cboos>any python hacker to the rescue? mitsuhiko?
[05:42:37.276580]<cboos>I wouldn't be that surprised if he already hit & fix that ;-)
[05:50:35.061584]<cboos>strange, a minimal test with only doctest and figleaf works ... we must do other things that get in the way
[05:51:26.881614]<cboos>anyway, enough with that for now - I'll commit my changes marking them as "work in progress"
[06:02:01.444669]<mitsuhiko>cboos: hm?
[06:02:20.038877]<cboos>ever tried figleaf in the presence of doctests?
[06:02:38.805133]<mitsuhiko>i stopped using doctests, too many problems
[06:02:53.870895]<cboos>ah ;-) not really the answer I was hoping for
[06:06:10.041847]<mitsuhiko>i know :)
[06:23:29.721124]<siwu>hey folks
[06:25:10.729413]<siwu>i'm having issues with TracThemePlugin
[06:25:15.076470]<siwu>can anyone help ? :)
[06:32:49.722016]<osimons>cboos: ok for now - get the remaining 14 messages later. need to head out now.
[06:35:36.287221]<cboos>osimons: no worries, I think 0.12beta1 is *still* not for today ... :-(
[06:36:04.680079]<cboos>... but getting closer ... certainly tomorrow
[06:38:11.348811]<cboos>osimons: 98% ... great!
[07:00:06.818476]*retracile murmurs something contemptuous about mornings.
[07:44:49.497561]<Sumpen>Hi guys! I recently migrated a trac sqlite db to MySQL db on another machine. I took care to set the database char set to utf8 and collate to utf8_bin. Fields look good in database but swedish chars are messed up in browser. I have tried to force apache to use UTF-8 and changed trac.ini to charset utf-8. Any where else I may look?
[10:30:38.622550]<chronos>here we talk about trac-wiki things too?
[10:43:50.910020]<wildintellect>chronos, any questions about the trac software is ok
[10:44:35.827574]<chronos>wildintellect: K, I have a friend here working with trac, I direct her to channel if have more doubts :), for now Trac doc is enought hehe
[10:59:58.757707]<nielk>hello
[11:36:17.180959]<nielk>hi remy, i talked to cmlenz the other day and asked about why trac would drop genshi in favor of jinja2, care to talk?
