| [05:17:56] |
<gebura> |
i see will see for the var |
| [05:17:59] |
<nick_fn> |
did the machine get upgraded? locales removed? |
| [05:18:42] |
<gebura> |
i just upgraded my kernel (added few things like grsec) |
| [05:20:06] |
<nick_fn> |
What locale is the shell using you're starting tracd with? |
| [05:20:30] |
<gebura> |
LANGUAGE = (unset), |
| [05:20:30] |
<gebura> |
LC_ALL = (unset), |
| [05:20:31] |
<gebura> |
LANG = "fr_FR.UTF-8" |
| [05:20:59] |
<gebura> |
if i add some locales (with dpkg-reconfigure) , what locales should i add ? |
| [05:21:08] |
<nick_fn> |
whichever you're using, I guess... |
| [05:22:43] |
<nick_fn> |
oh, I see trac.locale is not a shell environment variable. |
| [05:23:55] |
<gebura> |
but, as somebody said me an other channel, the first error is the locale error, not the error in the socketserver.py file? |
| [05:24:42] |
<gebura> |
oh |
| [05:25:02] |
<gebura> |
it run |
| [05:25:04] |
<nick_fn> |
Do LANG="sdf" tracd ... , and you get your problem. So you're just missing the fr_FR.UTF-8 locale |
| [05:25:35] |
<gebura> |
i just added the locales and it run |
| [05:26:04] |
<nick_fn> |
' 23. Error: unsupported locale setting ' _was_ fairly clear... |
| [05:27:02] |
<gebura> |
yes but i have made a wrong read of "Traceback (most recent call last)" |
| [05:27:38] |
<nick_fn> |
ok :-) Glad it works again for you. |
| [05:27:39] |
<gebura> |
so i was thinking that the first error was the error on the SocketServer.py file |
| [05:28:24] |

yes, sorry for asking too quicly , before reading the manual |

| [07:45:59] |
<cboos> |
fun ;) |
| [07:46:03] |
<cboos> |
mh, I'll have to have a look about the collapsed changeset with the timeline_show_files. |
| [07:46:22] |
<cboos> |
I admit I mostly use timeline_show_files = location those days /// |
| [07:47:27] |
<thatch> |
cboos: for timeline_show_files I'm working on a fix already, unless you have a great idea about it |
| [07:48:06] |
<cboos> |
well, the great idea was to eventually make that optional, as some people don't like it :-( |
| [07:48:19] |
<cboos> |
(the collapsed, not the bug ;-) ) |
| [07:48:47] |
<thatch> |
yeah. I don't really like it either (we have some people who tend to put empty log messages...) |
| [07:52:19] |
<thatch> |
so we get one combined entry per day if that's the only person who checked in changes. |
| [07:53:45] |
<cboos> |
... so you can safely ignore his only entry ;-) how would several empty entries be any better? only to see the dates? |
