I'm still looking for a possibility to sort milestones manually in the roadmap view. Creating a query 'Active Tickets by Milestone' uses natual sorting, which allowssorting via count-prefix. Unfortunately the roadmap sorts by duedate first, then natural. Where can I change that? (I have had a look in th roadmap.py, but haven't found the correct lines yet 'cause my python knowledge is very weak :(. Maybe anyone could give me a pointer? |

Is there any way to restrict access to a particular Component (project) for users without plugins... |
| [11:55:38] |

I am just trying to wrap my head around trac.. is it single project based.. or can it do multiple projects... |

* |
ras0ir has quit IRC |
| [11:58:39] |
<jhammel> |

<jhammel> |
drozzy_: i'm trying to grok what you really want to do, and i'm not sure i get it |
| [12:01:09] |
<drozzy_> |
jhammel: Thanks, let me see if I can explain a little. I want to have clients to register on my support site. Then I will create a project for them. And I want the client to submit tickets only to their respective projects. |
| [12:01:20] |
<drozzy_> |
I.e. I do not want the clients to see each others tickets/projects. |
| [12:01:51] |
<drozzy_> |
I am not sure if I can "pair-up" the clients with their respective projects/modules in trac. |
| [12:02:21] |
<drozzy_> |
Is that clearer.. or :-( |

I am not sure if trac is the right solution. All I need is the "Customer help desk" type of system. I don't need SVN, wiki,eetc... But I use Python+Django so I thought I'll look into Trac |
| [12:07:53] |
<jhammel> |
drozzy_: so its one "project" (component, whatever) per client? |
| [12:08:42] |

No can be more. Think ofa client who can have a website (for which he opens tickets) and say a software windows solution (for which he also opens tickets). |
