[02:03:21.583955]<Wu>hi ppl
[02:04:11.788010]<Wu>I've tracd running (standalone) in http://192.168.1.172:8000 with a project in /project
[02:04:31.837870]<Wu>and then I've an apache 2.2 in a public server, who is proxying requests to that tracd
[02:04:37.927555]<Wu>everything is working fine
[02:04:42.479249]<Wu>but when I add a ticket
[02:05:13.344645]<Wu>trac redirects me to http://192.168.1.172:8000/project/ticketwhatever instead of using the public url
[02:05:21.329901]<Wu>any idea why?

[11:07:59.646992]<skbohra>now that I have installed trac , how to get the login thing working ?
[11:14:37.757443]<cmc>skbohra: are you running tracd or apache?
[11:14:45.992554]<skbohra>cmc apache
[11:16:33.651468]<cmc>http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracModPython#ConfiguringAuthentication should help
[11:16:56.283908]<cmc>basically, you use htpasswd to create the username/password
[11:17:05.418690]<cmc>then you make trac reference that file
[11:19:00.199174]<skbohra>cmc: i dont have access to apache conf file
[11:19:50.945199]<cmc>you could try http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/AccountManagerPlugin
[11:20:05.055154]<cmc>I haven't used it enough to know if it'd work, but I think so
[11:42:33.550048]<skbohra>i am still cluless how to get the login thing working :-/ strange
[11:43:15.074707]<cmc>hm. if you don't have access to the apache conf, that means that you can't restart apache doesn't it?
[11:43:31.295311]<skbohra>yeah
[11:43:44.004236]<cmc>any plugins you install will require you to restart apache
[11:43:58.215180]<skbohra>there is a way to do the auth through .htaccess

[12:41:07.652960]<cmc>I don't know of a configuration that does that, but you could blank it out with a pretty simple plugin

[15:31:32.278695]<asbradbury>I'm setting up trac 0.12 multirepos and trying to get tickets to automatically update upon committing a changeset. I'm sure I found a ticket or mailing list posting saying there's a configuration setting to enable this now, but can't find it. Can any one point me in the correct direction?

[16:07:00.010613]<macmaN>asbradbury: trac-svn-hook ?
[16:12:56.866873]<asbradbury>macmaN: see my link above. trac-svn-hook updates the timeline. You need to add the config setting given in that thread to enable ticket updating
